Honda Care, explained.
Honda Care® is an optional Vehicle Service Contract that can help with the cost of eligible mechanical and electrical repairs to covered components.
The right plan depends on your vehicle and how you plan to own it. We’ll help you understand what’s included, what’s excluded and how the coverage works.
What can Honda Care cover?
Protection for more than the engine.
Depending on the Honda Care plan, eligible repairs can extend to many of your Honda’s major systems. The examples below show common coverage areas. Your contract defines the covered components and exclusions.

Different plans cover different things. Powertrain plans focus on core drivetrain components. Broader plans can include additional systems. We’ll review the exact coverage available for your Honda.

Roadside assistance
Services can include towing, jump-starts, lockout help, a tire change or fuel delivery, where applicable.
Rental-car reimbursement
Help with eligible rental expenses during a covered repair, subject to the contract’s qualifications and limits.
Trip-interruption benefits
Qualifying breakdowns away from home may include help with meal and lodging expenses. Contract conditions and limits apply.
Our F&I Managers will confirm which benefits apply to your plan, including any deductibles, reimbursement limits and requirements.
Understand the exclusions
Every plan has limits.
Honda Care does not cover every expense. Examples of items generally excluded from repair coverage include tires, body panels, glass, upholstery, trim, carpeting and routine maintenance items.
Coverage for a mechanical brake component is different from replacing worn brake pads. Ask us to review the exclusions in the actual contract with you.
Repairs and maintenance are different
What about oil changes?
Honda Care Maintenance is a separate prepaid maintenance product. It can cover specified scheduled services such as oil and filter changes and tire rotations, depending on the agreement.
A Honda Care repair plan and a maintenance plan serve different purposes. We’ll help you understand which product you’re considering.

Is Honda Care the same as my factory warranty?
Honda Care is an optional vehicle service contract. Your Honda’s factory limited warranty is separate. Our F&I Managers can explain how an available plan fits with your existing coverage, including when each benefit begins and ends.
Can I add Honda Care after buying my vehicle?
Eligibility depends on the vehicle and available plan. Contact our F&I Managers with your vehicle details and current mileage so we can check your options.
How long does Honda Care last?
The term depends on the contract you choose. We’ll review the exact expiration date and mileage limit with you so you understand the coverage period before purchasing.
