Elite interior shown. Sideways Magic Slide movement requires removal of the second-row center seat. Follow the owner’s manual for seat adjustments and child-seat installation.

Make the space work for you

The daily shuffle, with a little more flexibility.

Every Odyssey has eight seats. Remove the center seat in the second row, and the outboard Magic Slide seats can move sideways—useful when you want a clearer path to the third row or a different arrangement for your passengers.

Bring your child seats or stroller when you visit. We’ll demonstrate the seating adjustments so you can try the setup you’ll use every day.

People one day. Plenty of gear the next.

Room for the rest of your life.

Keep all three rows in use and you still have 32.8 cubic feet of standard cargo space behind the third row. The 60/40-split 3rd-row Magic Seat folds into the floor when you need more room.

For larger loads, the second-row seats can be removed. Honda lists up to 155.8 cubic feet on EX-L and Sport-L, or 155.7 on Touring and Elite, with the second row removed and third row stowed.

Every trim has a power tailgate. Elite adds hands-free access for the days your hands are already full.

A little more connected

Your phone, your music, your familiar apps.

Every Odyssey includes a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a wireless phone charger.

Touring and Elite add navigation and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Ask us to walk through the connections and any subscription requirements.

Compatible devices are required. Wireless charging performance varies by device and use; hotspot and connected services may require activation, paid data plans or subscriptions.

For the “are we there yet?” years

Give the back rows something to look forward to.

Touring and Elite include a 12.8-inch rear entertainment display. Connect a compatible streaming device through HDMI and pair compatible headphones, so the back rows can settle into their own entertainment.

CabinTalk is included on every trim and lets your voice reach the rear speakers. Touring and Elite also include CabinWatch, which shows the rear-seat camera view on the front touchscreen.

Streaming devices, compatible headphones, content subscriptions and a data connection may be required. CabinWatch is a convenience feature and does not replace checking on passengers safely.

Same confident power across the lineup

Room for everyone. Plenty for the driver.

Every Odyssey pairs a 280-hp 3.5-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You don’t have to move up a trim for the engine.

All four trims use front-wheel drive and include Intelligent Traction Management with Snow mode. It’s a useful distinction when comparing the Odyssey with an SUV: Snow mode does not make it all-wheel drive.

Support for the driver

Know what’s included—and what it does.

Honda Sensing driver-assistive features are included across the Odyssey lineup. We’ll explain what each system does and show you its settings before you head home.

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System and Road Departure Mitigation System
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Lane Keeping Assist
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Blind spot information and Cross Traffic Monitor
  • Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors

Driver-assistive systems do not replace attentive driving. System operation and detection are limited by road, weather and traffic conditions. Always check your surroundings and consult the owner’s manual.

A few more answers before you decide

2027 Honda Odyssey buying questions, answered.

From seating arrangements to cargo space and rear-seat technology. Choose a topic, then open a question for a closer look.

Choose your Odyssey5 questions
What are the 2027 Odyssey trim levels?

The U.S. lineup has four trims: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring and Elite. All share the same V6 engine, transmission and eight-passenger seating. The differences are in styling, seat materials, rear-seat technology and extra comforts. Our trim comparison is a good place to start.

What does the EX-L include?

EX-L starts with plenty of useful equipment: power sliding doors, a power tailgate, heated front seats, a moonroof and wireless phone connections. For 2027, its seats are HondaTex-trimmed synthetic leather. It’s worth a look if everyday convenience matters more to you than a rear entertainment screen.

What makes the Sport-L different?

Sport-L puts a different look around the Odyssey’s practical features, with 19-inch gloss-black wheels, sport styling, red stitching and red interior lighting. Its 2027 seating is HondaTex-trimmed, and it adds third-row USB charging ports. You get the same engine as the other trims.

Should I compare Touring or Elite?

Touring adds leather-trimmed seating, rear entertainment, CabinWatch, navigation and front/rear parking sensors. Elite adds comforts including ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, upgraded audio and a hands-free tailgate. Start with the features you’ll use, then decide whether Elite’s extras belong on your list.

What changed from the 2026 Odyssey?

One useful distinction is the seating material: 2026 EX-L and Sport-L models used leather-trimmed seating; their 2027 counterparts use HondaTex-trimmed synthetic leather. Touring and Elite retain leather-trimmed seating for 2027. If you’re comparing model years, ask us to check the equipment on the particular vehicles you’re considering.

Seats, space and cargo5 questions
Does every 2027 Odyssey seat eight?

Yes. Every trim has eight seating positions with all seats installed. The second row includes a removable center seat, giving you options for arranging passengers and access to the back. Visit our seating section, then try an arrangement that works for the people you carry.

How do the Magic Slide second-row seats work?

With the second-row center seat removed, the two outboard seats can move sideways. They also adjust forward and backward, helping you arrange access to the third row. We can demonstrate the adjustments when you visit. Always follow the owner’s manual for seat positioning and child-seat installation.

Can I check how my child seats fit?

Please bring the child seats you use so we can help you explore the space and seating adjustments. Honda lists lower anchors in all three second-row positions and the third-row outboard positions. Actual fit depends on the child seat and arrangement; follow both manufacturers’ installation instructions.

Do both rear rows fold into the floor?

The third-row Magic Seat folds into the floor in a 60/40 split. The second-row seats are removable when you need maximum cargo room; they don’t stow into the floor. That distinction matters when planning how often you’ll switch between carrying passengers and larger loads.

How much cargo space is there with the seats in use?

Honda lists 32.8 cubic feet of standard cargo space behind the third row. Maximum capacity is 155.8 cubic feet on EX-L/Sport-L or 155.7 on Touring/Elite, with the second row removed and third row stowed. Standard and maximum measurements use different configurations; see our cargo section for context.

Power, fuel and Rochester weather5 questions
Can I get a 2027 Odyssey with AWD or a hybrid engine?

The published U.S. 2027 lineup uses front-wheel drive and a gasoline V6 on every trim. Honda does not list an AWD or hybrid Odyssey in that lineup. If either is a priority, tell us what you need and we’ll help you compare suitable Honda options.

What does Snow mode do?

Every 2027 Odyssey includes Intelligent Traction Management with Snow mode, which adjusts vehicle operation for snowy conditions. It remains a front-wheel-drive vehicle. Tires, road conditions and driving choices still matter; ask us to show you the setting and discuss the way you drive in winter.

Do higher trims get more power or different gas mileage?

All four trims have the same 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 and 10-speed automatic transmission. Honda lists EPA estimates of 19 city, 28 highway and 22 combined mpg across the lineup. Those ratings are for comparison; your mileage varies with driving, maintenance, conditions and other factors.

Does the Odyssey need premium gas?

Honda recommends regular unleaded for the 2027 Odyssey, so premium fuel is not specified as the recommended grade. The published fuel-tank capacity is 19.5 gallons. Check the owner’s manual for fuel requirements and other operating information for your vehicle.

How much can the Odyssey tow, and what equipment does it need?

Honda lists up to 3,500 pounds for every trim when equipped with its dealer-installed accessory towing package, which includes a Class II hitch, towing kit and wiring harness. Before choosing a trailer, ask us to confirm equipment and review the vehicle’s towing and loading limits with you.

Phones and the back rows5 questions
Does every trim have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Yes. Every 2027 Odyssey includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a nine-inch center touchscreen and a wireless phone charger. Compatible devices are required, and charging performance varies. We’re happy to walk through the connections with your phone when you visit.

Which trims have the rear entertainment screen?

Touring and Elite include the ceiling-mounted 12.8-inch Rear Entertainment System. EX-L and Sport-L do not include that system. If keeping the back rows entertained is high on your list, start by comparing Touring and Elite in our rear-seat technology section.

How do passengers watch movies and listen with headphones?

The rear system supports compatible streaming devices through HDMI and content connections using a compatible phone or vehicle hotspot. It supports up to four compatible Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, plus a third-row headphone jack. Devices, headphones, subscriptions and data may be needed; a built-in disc player is not listed.

What’s the difference between CabinWatch and CabinTalk?

CabinWatch, on Touring and Elite, displays rear-seat camera images on the front touchscreen. CabinTalk is an in-car PA system on every trim, sending your voice through the speakers and, on Touring/Elite, compatible rear-entertainment headphones. We can demonstrate both so you can decide which features matter to you.

Which trims have built-in navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot?

Touring and Elite include Honda’s built-in navigation system and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Hotspot service requires an AT&T data plan, and connected services may have activation or subscription requirements. All trims also offer compatible phone navigation through wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Comfort and everyday features5 questions
Which trims have heated seats, ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel?

Heated front seats are included on every 2027 Odyssey. Elite adds ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Those are useful differences to consider if you spend a lot of time driving and want the extra front-seat comforts, alongside the family features in back.

Are the sliding doors and tailgate powered?

Every trim includes power sliding doors and a power tailgate with programmable height. Elite adds hands-free tailgate access. If you’re comparing trims, try the controls and loading area yourself; we can show you how the features operate and help you check the clearance you need.

Are a moonroof, power front seats and remote start included?

Yes. All trims have a one-touch power moonroof, remote engine start and power front seats. The driver gets 12-way adjustment, including four-way lumbar and two-position memory; the passenger gets eight-way adjustment, including four-way lumbar. Come try the seating position and controls for yourself.

What driver-assistance features and parking sensors are included?

Every trim includes Honda Sensing features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Lane Keeping Assist, plus blind-spot information and Cross Traffic Monitor. Touring and Elite add front/rear parking sensors. These systems have operating limits and support attentive driving; they don’t replace checking your surroundings.

Will an Odyssey fit in my garage?

Honda publishes a length of 205.2 inches, width of 78.5 inches and height of 69.6 inches. Those figures are a starting point, rather than a garage-fit guarantee. Measure your space and allow for mirrors, doors, tailgate movement and any accessories, then ask us to help check.
