What Is TSRP?

Make sense of the numbers

What Is TSRP?

TSRP stands for Total Suggested Retail Price. In Honda’s published pricing, it includes the destination charge that is listed separately from MSRP.

It gives you a starting point with destination already included. Your vehicle’s selling price and complete out-the-door amount may be different.

Know what you’re comparing

MSRP, TSRP and your selling price.

These labels describe different parts of the pricing picture. When you compare vehicles, check that the prices include the same items.

MSRP

The manufacturer’s suggested price.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price is the reference price before destination. Check the vehicle’s equipment, options and color when comparing it with another listing.

TSRP

Destination is included.

Honda’s Total Suggested Retail Price brings MSRP and destination together. It is still a suggested reference price, rather than the complete amount due for your purchase.

Selling price

The price of the vehicle you choose.

Look for the listed selling price and any Ide Discount shown for that vehicle. A discount can put the selling price below its TSRP.

The complete purchase picture

TSRP is not your out-the-door total.

The word “total” refers to the suggested vehicle price with destination included. It does not mean every purchase charge is covered.

Ask us for a written breakdown for the exact vehicle and purchase you’re considering. That lets you compare the selling price, any eligible offers, your trade and the additional charges together.

When you browse Ide inventory

Read the listing from the price down.

A few labels help separate the vehicle price from savings that depend on your eligibility.

  1. Start with the reference price.

TSRP helps explain the starting number. Use the specific vehicle’s pricing information, rather than assuming every vehicle of that model costs the same.

  2. Look for an Ide Discount.

When a dealer discount is shown, read it alongside the listed selling price. We show that discount separately so you can see how the numbers connect.

  3. Find “Your Price.”

On discounted new vehicles, this is the listed vehicle price after the displayed discount. The fee note explains the additional charges to consider.

  4. Review additional offers.

“Additional Offers You May Qualify For” may include programs such as military, graduate or loyalty offers. Eligibility and combination rules apply; these amounts are separate from the price above.

A few common questions

Still wondering about a number?

Is TSRP an extra charge added to the selling price?

No. TSRP is a reference price. It is not another charge to add on top of the vehicle’s selling price. When destination is already included in the quoted price, it should not be counted a second time.

Does TSRP include every option or accessory?

No. Honda’s published TSRP notes exclude options, and individual vehicles can have different equipment or accessories. Review the exact vehicle’s sticker and price breakdown with our team.

Can a vehicle’s selling price be lower than TSRP?

Yes. A displayed Ide Discount can reduce the listed vehicle price. Offers for qualified customers may provide additional savings, subject to the program’s terms.

Does everyone qualify for all the offers shown?

No. Each program has its own requirements, and offers may not be combinable. We’ll help you understand which ones apply to you before you rely on those savings.
